Director Johnson has lived in the community for nearly three decades. He is a licensed attorney and manages the law firm of Johnson & Rawi PC, located in Pasadena, California. He and his wife, Monna, have two sons born and raised in La Crescenta, and proud graduates of the Glendale Unified School District.

Director Johnson was born in Ohio and grew up east of the Mississippi River. He has a bachelor's degree from Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana, where he graduated cum laude with high honors in Political Science and was recognized as the Outstanding Male Student in 1984. He also holds a law degree from Indiana University School of Law in Bloomington, Indiana, where he was a member of the law review and graduated cum laude in 1987.

During law school, Director Johnson was recruited to Southern California to work for a prestigious national law firm located in DTLA. Thereafter, he served as an associate in the Los Angeles office of the oldest, Wall Street-based firm in the nation and then became a shareholder of an international law firm based in San Francisco. In 2000, he left the big law firm environment to form his own firm. For over twenty years, he has been recognized with an AV Preeminent® Peer Review rating from Martindale-Hubbell®, the highest rating in both legal ability and ethical standards. He has more than thirty-five years of experience as a litigator, trial attorney and corporate counsel.
