Sewer Rates

Your wastewater bill consists of a flat rate service charge in addition to a usage charge.

The amount of wastewater put into the District’s collection system is estimated based on the prior year’s winter water usage, when outdoor water is typically minimized.

This usage, up to a maximum of 20 units (20,000 gallons) per bill for a single-family residence is used to determine the bill for the next 12 months. Winter Water Usage consists of the prior year two-month billing for the period ending February or March, depending on the billing cycle.

Sewer Connection Surcharge

$500.00 per equivalent dwelling unit for each sewer lateral connection outside of District boundaries. Surcharge is applicable to all such connections approved after January 1, 2001.
