Crescenta Valley Water District, CVWD, is aware that customers in the La Crescenta area received a letter from the County of Los Angeles Department of Public Health (DPH) requesting proof that their properties are connected to a municipal sewer system. 

CVWD has been in contact with the DPH since last Thursday, July 11, 2019, and is working towards a resolution to simplify this process for CVWD customers.

DPH assured CVWD that a copy of your CVWD bill emailed to dlanduse@ph.lacounty.gov is sufficient proof of a connection.  The District has heard from some customers that they are being informed the bill is not accepted proof.

CVWD is still working with DPH staff to clarify this matter and has communicated to DPH which CVWD accounts are connected to the wastewater system.  While this has been acknowledged by DPH, the District is still waiting for confirmation that no further actions are required by CVWD customers.
