Water Main Break – Pennsylvania Avenue between El Caminito St and Stevens St.

UPDATE: 5:00 PM – 8/4/19
Crescenta Valley Water District is continuing to work on the water main break on Pennsylvania Avenue between Stevens and El Caminito. The original estimate of having the water back to the affected houses at 5 PM has been extended to 8 PM.
The water main break apparently caused a sewer line break at a residence in the area. GWP responded and repaired the sewer line break,. CVWD continues to work on the water main break and crews hope to have water restored to all affected customers by 8 pm tonight, Sunday.
Pennsylvania Ave is still closed to traffic between El Caminito Street and Stevens St. as the crews work to repair the water main. The roadway will be closed until tomorrow as the water main is repaired and the pavement inspected for safety.
